2011 MLB Draft: Scout.com's Top 100 Prospects

The 2011 MLB Draft figures to be loaded with as much talent as any class in recent memory. With that in mind, narrowing this class down to the best 100 players was no easy task. Here's a look at the best the 2011 draft has to offer in Scout.com's official Top 100 Draft Prospects list.

From Gerrit Cole at number one to Brandon Woodruff at number 100, this is an exceptional draft class. It came as no easy task to eliminate players from contention and put them in order. In the end, it's a class loaded with college pitching and overflowing with high school talent.

These rankings were compiled primarily from the first-hand evaluations of Scout.com's National Baseball Expert and former Texas Rangers' scout, Frankie Piliere. Players are ranked with an emphasis placed on future upside at the big league level as well as their track record of consistent performance in front of scouts. Input has also been taken from high ranking scouts and scouting directors.
