Starting pitchers are perhaps the biggest factor in whether a team succeeds in the postseason. For that reason, some of the most detailed scouting reports are compiled on these opposing starters. Here’s a look at what playoff opponents will see from Diamondbacks' starter, Daniel Hudson.

Fastball: 92-96 MPH
Changeup: 82-85 MPH
Slider: 87-89 MPH

The Skinny: Hudson is aggressive in the zone and has every right to be given his raw stuff. He has a swing and miss type fastball with good life down in the strike zone.

His slider and changeup are both above average at times and will continue to get him swings and misses in the postseason. Hudson is also capable of getting hitters to chase out of the zone, and you can have a lot of success when you get good hitters to expand in the playoffs.
