Notes
-Don't call it a comeback for the Topes. Call it two. Albuquerque scored 4 in the 5th and 5 in the 7th. Scott Van Slyke hit his 4th double and raised his average to .381. Jerry Sands raised his average to .244 with a pair of singles. Josh Bard went 4 for 4. Josh Wall recorded his 3rd save.
-Allen Webster had a solid start, giving up 3 runs in 6 innings but also striking out 7 and walking just 1. J.T. Wise hit his 2nd home run of the season. BCG with a double, the Lemmer added one as well. Kyle Russell struck out but is making more contact so far this year. Jon Michael Redding pitched 3 one hit innings.
-The Quakes' doubleheader featured two of the club's top pitching prospects. Zach Lee was strong once again, allowing just 2 runs in 5 innings while striking out 7. Angel Sanchez struggled with his control a bit, walking 3 and giving up 3 runs in 5 frames. Leon Landry stole his 6th base in as many tries.
-Devin Shines blasted his first home run of the year, a 3 run shot in the 7th inning that would prove to be the game winner. Jose Dominguez went 4.1 innings, allowing just 1 run on 1 hit for the win. Eric Eadington picked up his first save. Scott Schebler came a triple shy of the cycle.
