Kelvin De La Cruz gave up two runs (one earned) in 6 1/3 innings to pick up the win. He allowed seven hits and two walks, but struck out six. Jamie Johnson went 1-for-3 with his first home run of the season and two RBIs. Ben Guez went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Kenny Faulk pitched a perfect 1 2/3 innings of relief, and Michael Morrison gave up one hit in the ninth for the save.

Dean Green hit a two-run homer to cap off a four-run eighth and West Michigan held on for the comeback victory. Green went 2-for-4 with the two RBIs and two runs scored. Marcelo Carreno got the start and went five innings, giving up three runs (one earned). Eugenio Suarez went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Jeff Ferrell allowed just two hits in four scoreless innings of relief and picked up the win.
