AAA Toledo Mud Hens
21-17, 2nd in West Division

In the first game of the doubleheader, Jose Ortega gave up a sac fly in the bottom of the eighth to lose the game. Jacob Turner made his season-debut with the Mud Hens, allowing two earned runs over 5 1/3 innings. Turner gave up four hits and two walks, while striking out four. He threw 94 pitches. Brad Eldred led Toledo at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a double. Ryan Strieby went 1-for-3 with an RBI.

In the second game, Strieby went 2-for-3 with a triple, three RBIs and a run scored. Casey Crosby gave up four earned runs over six innings, but picked up a win. He allowed four hits and four walks while striking out nine. Justin Henry went 1-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored. Chris Bootcheck gave up two hits in the seventh, but recorded the save.

AA Erie Seawolves
19-17, 3rd in Eastern Division

Ramon Garcia went eight innings, giving up three earned runs on four hits to pick up the win. Rawley Bishop went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs to lead Erie to its sixth straight win. Niuman Romero and Brandon Douglas each went 2-for-5. Robbie Weinhardt pitched a scoreless ninth for the save.

High-A Lakeland Flying Tigers
19-16, T-2nd in North Division

James Robbins and James McCann each went 1-for-4 with two RBIs to lead the Lakeland offense. Kevin Eichhorn gave up one earned run in four innings in the start. Patrick Cooper gave up two earned runs over two innings, but picked up the win. With the score tied at six, Lakeland exploded for six runs in the sixth to build a lead Tampa could not come back from.

Low-A West Michigan Whitecaps
18-20, 6th in Eastern Division

Thomas Collier gave up one unearned run over six innings, but the West Michigan offense was held to just four hits. Michael Torrealba gave up three earned runs without recording an out in the seventh. Jason King went 1-for-4 with a double, while Aaron Westlake went 1-for-2 with a double.

1-0, T-1st in Eastern Division

Franklin Navarro hit a two-RBI double to give the Tigers the lead in the top of the ninth and Angel Vasquez held on for the win. Vasquez gave up four hits over four scoreless innings of relief. Johan Belisario got the start and gave up two earned runs. Orvin Tovar went 1-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored. Navarro went 1-for-4 with the double.
